Cupcakes (and simple cakes) you can actually eat

I get asked this a lot, so I'm making it official — I'm taking special orders, and cupcakes are kind of my thing.

If you need gluten-free, dairy-free cupcakes for a birthday, party, classroom, or office — or a simple cake for a small celebration — you can request it here. Same for something that's not on the regular menu that week, just ask.

Everything is made in my dedicated gluten-free kitchen. No gluten comes in here. It's all dairy-free too.

Start with my specialties:

My Strawberry Shortcake Cupcakes and my Carrot Cake (cake only) are the ones people ask for again. If you don't know where to start, start there. Vanilla and chocolate are available too.

I'm a home bakery and it's just me, so I keep decorating simple on purpose. Smooth frosting, sprinkles, pretty colors, a simple topper. I don't do writing on cakes or cupcakes, and I don't do fancy fondant sculptures or Pinterest wedding cakes — just really good, safe cupcakes and cakes for the person who usually has to skip dessert.

Pricing (starting point — final quote in my reply)

Cupcakes: Half dozen $24 · Dozen $48 — Classic swirl/rosette included

Cakes (2-layer): 6" $65 · 8" $85 · 10" $110 — Classic smooth finish included

Signature / Celebration styling, allergy options (egg-free, vegan, refined sugar-free, Top 9), toppers, fresh fruit, and Bay City delivery are available as add-ons — full list on the request form. 50% deposit holds your date.

How it works

1. Fill out the short request form below — tell me the date first, that's the most important part

2. I'll review it and get back to you within 2 days with a yes/no and a price

3. If it's a yes, a 50% deposit books your date. That deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, so please be sure of your date before you book.

4. Pick up on your date from my porch in Bay City — 217 State Park Dr

Please request at least 7 days ahead for cupcakes, 10 days for cakes — and the earlier, the better.

Meeting the lead time doesn't guarantee your date: I take special orders only on dates I'm open and not already booked, and I take a limited number each week so I don't burn out and your order still gets the attention it deserves. Once those spots are gone for a week, they're gone, so don't wait until the minimum if you know your date

Not a fit:

Writing on cakes/cupcakes, extravagant decorating, tiered / sculpted / fondant cakes, character designs, or last-minute emergencies. If you're not sure, ask anyway — I'll tell you honestly if I can do it well or not. And if you want a name or message, a cute topper or a little card on the box does that job perfectly.
